I bought a very standard gel palm rest Partners. One of those things that you stand in front of your keyboard to leave their dolls get RSI.

I took him out of the pack and absolutely stinks. It feels as if you use the washing machine and forgot to take it back for about 3 days. Nasty, I can not work with him sooooo. I walked in the rain for 24 hours, and it still smells awful.

My question is: is that the smell will disappear over time has, or I'm firmly with him? Should I go back? If so, what are the alternatives? Thanks
